Remarkable Progress in A-level Results 2025
August 14 2025 - Staff and students from Lydiard Park Academy Sixth Form are today celebrating achieving fantastic A Level and Vocational Qualifications.
The results reflect the extraordinary progress made by students across both academic and vocational pathways. A level outcomes exceeded national headline targets at A*-B by 17% and vocational outcomes at Distinction* - Distinction were 13% above national expectations.
Students have demonstrated remarkable resilience, determination, and a commitment to personal growth. Their collective progress is a testament to the academy’s ethos of turning potential into performance, supporting every student to exceed expectations.
Among the many successes, 76% of grades at A* - C were awarded across the range of subjects, showcasing individual excellence and academic ambition and 63% of grades awarded in vocational courses were at Distinction* and Distinction, highlighting the strength of our applied learning programmes and the talent of our students.
These outcomes open doors to exciting futures, with students securing places at universities, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities across the country.
