Department for Education 16-18 Performance Measures 2024
We are delighted that the hard work of our students and teachers has been recognised in the Department for Education’s performance measures. Post-16 educational institutions are assessed by five distinct measures; progress, attainment, retention, English and maths as well as destinations. These accountability headline measures aim to give a full picture of how sixth form centres and colleges are performing, taking account of a variety of factors.
Retention Data
Percentage of students retained to the end of their main course of study:
English and Maths Progress Measure
We have not produced English and Maths progress measures this year, as we would need to use grades achieved between January 2020 and August 2021 to do this.
Student Destinations (2022 leavers)
Students Progressing to Higher Education or Training
Destination data is lagged by two years. For internal destination data please visit the Post-18 destination page of the website.
