We recognise that exams are challenging for both parents and students. It is the aim of TPAT Sixth Form to make the examination experience as stress-free and successful as possible for all pupils.

Exam Performance 2020

Following an unprecedented year in 2020, we are very proud of our students who received their A level and vocational qualification results.

Despite the school closures and the cancellation of summer exams due to the global pandemic, our students achieved the academy’s highest A Level results, with 61% of all entries at A* to B and a 100% pass rate overall.  The academy’s results exceeded the government’s headline target for attainment, with 29% more A*-B grades than government expectations.

We are elated by the achievement of our students which is fully deserved on the back of their hard work and the commitment of our staff.  This is the academy’s fifth year of full A Level results and we are extremely proud that they continue to improve year on year.

Department for Education 16-18 Performance Measures

We are delighted that the hard work of our students and teachers has been recognised in the Department for Education’s A level performance measures.  Post-16 educational institutions are assessed by five distinct measures; progress, attainment, retention, English and maths as well as destinations.  These new accountability headline measures aim to give a full picture of how colleges are performing, taking account of a variety of factors.
