Our Curriculum
At TPAT Sixth Form we offer a broad and balanced curriculum (currently 20 A level courses and 5 vocational courses) with students from across the Trust afforded the opportunity to continue their GCSE studies at a higher level.
The curriculum offers a range of facilitating subjects in order to give our students the opportunity to progress to high quality Post-18 destinations. The curriculum consists of A levels in: Art: Fine, Art: Photography, Art: Textiles, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Computer Science, Drama & Theatre, Economics, English Literature, English Language & Literature, Geography, History, Mathematics, Mathematics (Further), Media Studies, Physical Education, Physics, Politics, Psychology, Religion, Philosophy & Ethics and Sociology.
In addition, we offer the following vocational qualifications: BTEC Applied Science, BTEC Sport, CTEC Business, CTEC Digital Media, CTEC IT and WJEC Criminology.
All students have the opportunity to choose three A level subjects, with a further option of the Extended Project Qualification.
Weekly curriculum delivery includes: five hours per subject, one-hour PSHE and four hours individual supervised study.

Our Key Stage 5 curriculum is reviewed annually to ensure it meets the needs of our students in today’s society and fully prepares them in progressing onto high quality Post-18 destinations.
